ANGELS HOST ASTROS AND BREWERS IN SIX-GAME HOMESTAND DURING BEACH WEEK

The Angels host their 10th homestand of the year from July 27 – August 2. The homestand will begin with a three-game series against the Astros and conclude with a three-game set against the Brewers. Below is a look at the notable events and ceremonies taking place at Angel Stadium during the next homestand.

BEACH WEEK

• From Monday, July 27 to Sunday, August 2, the Angels will celebrate Beach Week at The Big A.
• Festivities will include beach-themed in-game entertainment and giveaways, and the Angels will wear their City Connect uniforms for all six games during the week.
• SPONGEBOB NIGHT: On Friday, July 31, the Angels will host SpongeBob Night. Festivities will include themed in-game entertainment, special character appearances, a SpongeBob themed photo opportunity near the Center Field rocks, and a SpongeBob Angels jersey giveaway.
• FIREWORKS: Fans in attendance on Saturday, August 1, will be treated to a beach-themed postgame firework show.
• BANDS AT THE BIG A: On Saturday, August 1, the Angels will host a local reggae band, The Simpkin Project, that will play a 15-minute set before first pitch, as well as songs during and after the game.

CEREMONIAL FIRST PITCH

• Prior to the game on Tuesday, July 28, Angels alumni and Long Beach State Hall of Famer Jered Weaver will throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch.

BOBBY MURCER AWARD PREGAME CEREMONY

• On Monday, July 27, MLB’s Baseball Assistance Team (B.A.T) will honor Angels players with the 2026 Bobby Murcer Award, which recognizes the top contributing team in each league. The Angels set a record with their fundraising for the program during the 2026 Spring Training Fundraising Tour.

IN THE COMMUNITY

• On Wednesday, July 29, the Angels will host the on-field PLAY Campaign Clinic in partnership with PBATS at Angel Stadium.
• Also on Wednesday, July 29, the Angels will welcome athletes and coaches from the MLB Youth Academy and USA Softball Programs as part of the MLB Softball Breakthrough Series.
• On Saturday, August 1, the Angels and Anaheim Family YMCA will kick off the 2026 Angels Nike RBI Fall League at Zion Lutheran Church.

VIETNAMESE HERITAGE NIGHT

• On Tuesday, July 28, the Angels will celebrate Vietnamese Heritage Night at Angel Stadium. Prior to the game, there will be a Vietnamese Heritage Block Party in Gate 6 featuring music, food trucks, and a jersey redemption for fans that purchased a Vietnamese Heritage Night ticket package. There will also be a pregame Vietnamese drum performance on the field and in-game group recognition.

FAMILY SUNDAY & KIDS RUN THE BASES

• Prior to the game on Sunday, August 2, fans in attendance can enjoy fun family games and activities at the Gate 5 courtyard. The festivities continue postgame, with the opportunity for kids to run the bases.

GIVEAWAYS

• Upon entrance to the game on Wednesday, July 29, the first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive a City Connect Beach Towel courtesy of Tempe Tourism.
• Upon entrance to the game on Friday, July 31, the first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive a SpongeBob Angels Jersey.
