ANGELS HOST METS AND WHITE SOX IN SIX-GAME HOMESTAND
The Angels host their third homestand of the year from May 1 – May 6. The homestand will begin with a three-game series against the Mets and conclude with a three-game set against the White Sox. Below is a look at the notable events and ceremonies taking place at Angel Stadium over the next homestand.
IN THE COMMUNITY
- On Monday, May 4, Sebastián Rivero will visit students at Villa Park Elementary School as part of the Angels Adopt-A-School program.
- On Tuesday, May 5, Chase Silseth will visit Fryberger Elementary School as part of the Angels Adopt-A-School program.
SATURDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS
- Fans in attendance of the Saturday night game on May 2 will be treated to a postgame firework show driven by your SoCal Hyundai Dealers.
BROADCAST SCHEDULE
- On Monday, May 4, the Angels game against the White Sox will be simulcast locally in Southern California on KCOP-13. Monday’s simulcast will be the first of 12 over-the-air broadcasts available to fans this season. The full list can be found at Angels.com/watch.
PRE-GAME CEREMONIES
- Prior to the game on Saturday, May 2, Girl Scout Troops from around Southern California will parade along the warning track and take part in the Girl Scout Promise before the National Anthem.
- Prior to the game on Sunday, May 3, youth baseball leagues and girls softball leagues from around Southern California will parade along the warning track.
CINCO DE MAYO
- On Tuesday, May 5, the Angels will celebrate Cinco De Mayo at Angel Stadium. A Mariachi band will perform prior to first pitch and throughout the game.
BANDS AT THE BIG A
- On Saturday, May 2, the Angels will host local band Bristol to Memory, who will play a 15-minute set before first pitch, as well as songs during and after the game.
GIVEAWAYS
- Upon entrance to the game on Friday, May 1, the first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive an Angels Bomber Jacket courtesy of MemorialCare.
