ANGELS TO CELEBRATE AMERICA’S 250TH ANNIVERSARY DURING THREE-GAME HOMESTAND
The Angels host their eighth homestand of the year from July 3 – July 5. The Angels will play the Red Sox in a
three-game series over Fourth of July Weekend. Below is a look at the notable events and ceremonies taking place
at Angel Stadium during the next homestand.
FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND
• On Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5, the Angels will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary during
Fourth of July Weekend at the Big A.
• US ARMY PROMOTION: On Friday, July 3, Preston Haring, a member of The Jazz Ambassador Traditional
Jazz Band (United States Army Field Band), will receive his US Army promotion at Angel stadium following
the band’s pregame performance in Right Field. He will be joined by his ranking officer, Chief Warrant
Officer 2 Brian Dorgan, and his partner, Sergeant First Class Courtney Martin.
• The Jazz Ambassador Traditional Jazz Band will play a pregame set, followed by performances throughout
the game on Friday.
• On the Fourth of July, United States veterans and their families will unfurl a 300-foot American flag while
Tim Kepler performs the National Anthem. During the anthem, a military flyover will be performed by the
Condor Squadron out of Van Nuys, CA, piloting North American AT-6 “Texan” aircrafts.
• Also on the Fourth of July, fans will receive an America Waves flag – a keepsake from America’s 250th.
There will be an in-game America Waves Moment.
• Throughout the weekend, there will be a America 250th anniversary themed photo opportunity near the
center field rocks.
• FIREWORKS: Fans in attendance of each game on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be treated to a
patriotic-themed postgame firework show.
ANGELS COLLEGE SCHOLARS PREGAME CEREMONY
• On Sunday, July 5, the Angels Baseball Foundation will honor 20 outstanding college graduates from the
2026 Angels College Scholarship program in an on-field ceremony prior to the game. The graduating
seniors received a four-year scholarship to assist with continuing their education at the collegiate level and
are graduating debt-free. They will be joined by this year’s 25 high school recipients from the newly minted
class of 2030.

• Upon entrance to the game on Friday, July 3, the first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive a Patriotic Hat
courtesy of Pechanga Resort Casino.
