Christian Vázquez undergoes successful surgery
Boston Red Sox catcher Christian Vázquez underwent a successful pinning procedure (ORIF) of his fractured right fifth finger today at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Dr. Matt Leibman performed the surgery.
Recovery time is estimated to be approximately six to eight weeks.
