Colorado Rockies Acquire Right-Handed Pitcher Nick Frasso and Outfielder Landyn Vidourek From the Los Angeles Dodgers in Exchange for Right-Handed Pitcher Seth Halvorsen

DENVER – The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have acquired Minor League right-handed pitcher Nick Frasso and Minor League outfielder Landyn Vidourek via trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for right-handed pitcher Seth Halvorsen.
Frasso, 27, was added to the Dodgers 40-man roster on June 6 when the club transferred right-handed pitcher Tyler Glasnow to the 60-day injured list, but has spent the entirety of the season with Triple-A Oklahoma City … will report to Triple-A Albuquerque … has gone 1-0 with a 4.74 ERA (24.2 IP, 13 ER), 17 walks and 40 strikeouts in 21 appearances (one start) with Oklahoma City while allowing just two home runs … in 108 total Minor League appearances (51 starts) since 2021, the Torrance, Calif., native has gone 11-7 with a 3.90 ERA (253.2 IP, 110 ER), 109 walks and 299 strikeouts … transitioned to a reliever after the 2023 season, making all 57 of his career relief appearances the past two seasons … was acquired by the Dodgers via trade with the Toronto Blue Jays on Aug. 2, 2022, along with Minor League left-handed pitcher Moises Brito, in exchange for right-handed pitcher Mitch White and infielder Alex De Jesus … ranked by MLB.com as the No. 80 overall prospect in baseball prior to the 2024 season … was originally selected by Toronto in the fourth round of the 2020 First-Year Player Draft out of Loyola Marymount University (Calif.).
Vidourek, 22, was selected by Los Angeles in the third round of the 2025 Draft out of the University of Cincinnati …will report to Single-A Fresno … has appeared in 61 total Minor League games in 2026, 59 of them with Single-A Ontario … the left-handed hitter has hit .170/.332/.311 with nine doubles, one triple, six home runs, 24 RBI and nine stolen bases with Ontario … appeared in 16 games with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga in his first professional season in 2025, batting .313/.378/.463 with five doubles, one triple and one home run … the Hamilton, Ohio native was Honorable Mention All-Big 12 his junior season at Cincinnati prior to being drafted, batting .304 with 14 home runs and 39 stolen bases for the Bearcats … pronounced vih-DURR-ek.
Halvorsen, 26, has gone 0-1 with a 4.74 ERA (19.0 IP, 10 ER), 15 walks and 17 strikeouts in 21 appearances with the Rockies this season … was placed on the 15-day injured list on July 4 and made his first rehab appearance on Sunday with Triple-A Albuquerque … in 75 career relief appearances with Colorado has gone 3-4 with a 4.31 ERA (71.0 IP, 34 ER), 38 walks and 66 strikeouts … was originally selected by Colorado in the seventh round of the 2023 Draft out of the University of Tennessee.
