The Arizona Diamondbacks named OF Ryan Waldschmidt and RHP Daniel Eagen the organization’s 2025 Minor League Player and Pitcher of the Year.

Ranked among Minor League leaders in walks (2nd, 96) and runs (3rd, 114).
Named the Texas League’s and D-backs’ organization August Player of the Month after hitting .371 (36-for-97)/1.143 OPS with 6 doubles, 1 triple, 6 homers, 17 RBI, 24 walks and 12 stolen bases in 26 games with the Sod Poodles.

Named the Northwest League Pitcher of the Month for May after going 2-1 with a 1.69 ERA (4 ER in 21.1 IP) and 26 strikeouts in 4 starts and July after going 1-0 with a 2.35 ERA (7 R-6 ER in 23.0 IP) and 23 strikeouts in 4 starts (2 quality).
