D-backs place Andrew Chafin on paternity leave list

The Arizona Diamondbacks placed LHP Andrew Chafin on the Paternity Leave List and recalled RHP Silvino Bracho from Triple-A Reno.
Chafin, 28, is 1-3 with 11 holds, a 1.67 ERA (7 ER in 37.2 IP), .198 opponent average and 37 strikeouts this season for the D-backs.
Bracho, 26, has gone 2-0 with a 2.04 ERA (4 ER in 17.2 IP), .150 opponent average, 0.79 WHIP, 5 walks and 23 strikeouts (11.72 per 9.0 IP) in 18 appearances with the D-backs in 2018. He has not yielded a run in 14 of his 18 games, and has limited right-handed batters to a .114 average (4-for-35).
In 18 games with Reno this season, Bracho is 1-1 with 5 saves, a 4.38 ERA (12 ER in 24.2 IP), 5 walks and 39 strikeouts. He struck out all 6 batters faced in his last outing on July 27 @ Round Rock (2.0 IP).
