Diamondbacks "Swing, Swing" into 2026 season one week from today with Opening Day

The wait is OVER — baseball is back in the desert as the Arizona Diamondbacks return to Chase Field for their 2026 home Opening Day, presented by Adobe, on Monday, March 30 at 7:10 p.m. against the Detroit Tigers, launching a weeklong homestand packed with Opening Day energy and can’t-miss entertainment.

Opening Day at Chase Field is one of the Valley’s most anticipated traditions, where the ballpark comes alive with a full slate of pregame festivities, unforgettable moments and an electric atmosphere from the first pitch to the final out. From the roar of the crowd to the pageantry and celebration that define Opening Day, it’s a can’t-miss experience for fans across Arizona. The celebration continues Friday, April 3 with the first Postgame Fireworks show of the season, presented by Budweiser, as Chase Field gives way to a dazzling display lighting up the Phoenix sky.

On Saturday, April 4, fans can “Move Along” to a nostalgia-fueled Postgame Concert from The All-American Rejects. The concert is free with a game ticket, with the option to upgrade to a field pass for on-field access at dbacks.com/aar.

Other Special Events this homestand include Bark at the Park on Tuesday, March 31, highlighted by a pregame parade, Pickleball Ticket Pack on Friday, April 3, featuring a limited-edition D-backs paddle cover and youth pickleball players parade, and Cuban Heritage Celebration on Saturday, April 4, featuring a Cuban-inspired hat, a live performance by Josiel and the Band, dance lessons from Stilo and a pregame recognition for Cuban-owned business leaders and community advocates Mercy Arenado Melian and Cubanitas Kitchen.
