Diamondbacks Unveil Redesigned License Plate

The Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Division have unveiled a new D-backs-branded license plate which features a refreshed look that reflects the team's current color scheme and new uniforms and is currently available for Arizona licensed drivers.
In 2007, the D-backs became the first professional sports team in Arizona to partner with the Arizona Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Division to offer a branded license plate. Since the program's inception, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation has donated more than $1.4 million for youth education and development, housing for the homeless and healthcare for the indigent across the state through the license plate program. Currently, the D-backs license plates generates approximately $150,000 annually to the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.
Fans can purchase the license plate for $25 annually and $17 from each D-backs-branded plate goes to the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. Fans can also personalize their license plate for an additional $25 annual fee. D-backs license plates are available now and can be purchased online at www.servicearizona.com or in person at any MVD or Authorized Third Party office.
