About Joe Torre Safe At Home
Founded in 2002 by Ali and Joe Torre, Safe At Home was created to end the cycle of domestic violence and abuse through education. Safe At Home’s Margaret’s Place, named in honor of Joe’s mother, is a safe space in schools which offers both trauma‑informed prevention and intervention services for empowerment, education, and understanding. Students are given the tools to understand what healthy relationships look like, how to care for themselves and each other, and how to support friends in need—so that everyone feels safer and braver at school, at home, and wherever they go. Safe At Home reaches more than 28,000 students each year and has directly served over 425,000 young people, families, schools, and communities across California, New York, Ohio, and two international locations since the organization’s inception.
The Los Angeles Dodgers franchise, with nine World Series championships and 26 National League pennants since its beginnings in Brooklyn in 1890, is committed to a tradition of pride and excellence. The Dodgers, baseball’s 2024 and 2025 back-to-back World Champions, have been recognized as ESPN’s Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year and are dedicated to supporting a culture of winning baseball, providing a first-class, fan-friendly experience, and building a strong partnership with the community. With the highest cumulative fan attendance in Major League Baseball history and a record of breaking barriers, the Dodgers are one of the most cherished sports franchises in the world.
