Dodgers Recall Bobby Miller

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled right-handed pitcher Bobby Miller and placed right-handed pitcher Blake Treinen on the injured list with right shoulder inflammation.

Miller, 27, returns for this third stint with the club. He has been in the Majors parts of four seasons with Los Angeles with a 14-8 record and a 5.43 ERA. He had a banner season in 2023, setting career marks in wins (11), starts (22), ERA (3.76), innings pitched (124.1), strikeouts (119) and WHIP (1.10). He was the Dodgers’ first round pick in 2020, selected with the 29th overall pick from the University of Louisville.

Treinen, 38, appeared in 36 games, going 4-1 with a 3.64 ERA. He is in his sixth season with the Dodgers, recording a 23-20 record with a 2.88 ERA in 222 games. He has been in the Majors 12 years with the Washington Nationals (2014-17), Athletics (2017-19) and Dodgers (2020-), going 49-42 with 83 saves in 567 games. He was drafted out of South Dakota State University by the Athletics in the seventh round of the 2011 First Year Player Draft.
