Dodgers Recall Landon Knack

DODGERS RECALL LANDON KNACK

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled right-handed pitcher Landon Knack and optioned left-handed pitcher Andrew Heaney.

Knack, 28, returns for his third stint with the club. He made 21 appearances (18 starts) with Triple-A Oklahoma City, going 6-6 with a 6.66 ERA and 94 strikeouts in 102.2 innings. He is 3-2 with a 5.12 ERA this season in nine games (seven starts) for the Dodgers. He is in his second season with Los Angeles, and he is 6-7 with a 4.18 ERA in 107.2 innings. He was drafted in the second round of the 2020 First Year Player Draft out of East Tennessee State University.

Heaney, 34, pitched last night, allowing three runs in two innings. He made four starts for the Triple-A Oklahoma City Comets, posting a 0.90 ERA with 13 strikeouts in 10.0 innings. He made 26 appearances with the Pittsburgh Pirates prior to his release on August 29 and went 5-10 with a 5.39 ERA. He spent the 2022 season with Los Angeles, going 4-4 with a 3.10 ERA and 110 strikeouts in 72.2 innings. This is his 12th Major League season with the Miami Marlins (2014), Los Angeles Angels (2015-21), New York Yankees (2021), Dodgers (2022), Texas Rangers (2023-24) and Pirates (2025), going 56-72 with a 4.57 ERA in 230 games.
