Dodgers to host rival Cubs, Giants & Rockies during 11-game homestand

LOS ANGELES – The first-place Los Angeles Dodgers, who have the best record in the National League, return home Thursday and will take on the rival Chicago Cubs (June 13-16), San Francisco Giants (June 17-20) and Colorado Rockies (June 21-23) during a season-long, 11-game homestand.

Dodger players will enjoy an off-day in Los Angeles tomorrow, and top it off by attending the sold out 5th Anniversary Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala at Dodger Stadium. The Gala will feature a performance by 11-time Grammy Award winner Bruno Mars, and is expected to raise over $3 million to benefit LADF programs.

Big crowds are expected for the four-game series against the Chicago Cubs, which will feature Joe Kelly Bobblehead Night presented by ampm on Thursday, Friday Night Fireworks presented by Denny’s and the opportunity for fans to take part in a Father’s Day catch on the field following Sunday’s nationally-televised 4:05 p.m. game.

The Dodgers will welcome the NCAA champion UCLA Bruins softball team Monday to open the Giants series, which also includes Clayton Kershaw Bobblehead Night presented by Q CELLS on Tuesday, June 18 and a canvas beach bag giveaway presented by Chef Merito Seasonings on Thursday, June 20. The team will host its annual African American Heritage Night on Wednesday, June 19 with special pregame ceremonies and a ticket pack, which includes an exclusive cap (more information: Dodgers.com/AfricanAmerican).

The Rockies will make their first visit to Dodger Stadium since last year’s NL West Tiebreaker game for a three-game series with great promotions like Friday Night Fireworks presented by Denny’s and a Kiké Hernández Jersey Tee giveaway presented by San Manuel Casino on Saturday. All fans in attendance on Saturday, June 22, are invited to stay after the game for the club’s annual Christian Faith Night featuring testimonials from Dodger players (Clayton Kershaw, Kenley Jansen and more) and music from Hillsong California. On Sunday, June 23, the team will also hold its monthly Viva Los Dodgers festival presented by Spectrum and Coca-Cola starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Historic 76 Station in Lot 6 and also give kids the opportunity to run the bases post-game. The series also includes two special event ticket packs (more information: Dodgers.com/TicketPacks), Filipino Night on Friday, June 21 and Girl Scout Day on Sunday, June 23.
