Giants announce tentative 2018 regular season schedule

The San Francisco Giants are scheduled to open their 2018 season at the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday, March 29 and to play their home opener against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday, April 3, the club announced today.
The 2018 season will mark the ninth-straight year that San Francisco has opened on the road. In seven of their last eight seasons, the Giants have opened on the road against either the Arizona Diamondbacks or the Los Angeles Dodgers. San Francisco played their last season opener against the Dodgers in 2013.
Following their opening four game series in Los Angeles (March 29-April 1), the Giants will travel back to San Francisco for their first homestand of the year, which includes a two-game series against the Seattle Mariners (April 3-4), a three-game set against the Los Angeles Dodgers (April 6-8) and a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks (April 9-11).
For the sixth-straight season, the Giants will play 19 games against each of their four National League West rivals - Arizona, Colorado, Los Angeles and San Diego.
The Giants will face the American League West in Interleague, playing a home-and-home series with the Seattle Mariners (April 3-4 at AT&T Park; July 24-25 at Safeco Field) and Houston Astros (May 22-23 at Minute Maid Park; August 6-7 at AT&T Park), a three game home series with the Texas Rangers (Aug. 24-26), as well as a three-game road set against the Los Angeles Angels (April 20-22). A six-game, home-and-home series between the Giants and Athletics will take place, with the first series at AT&T Park leading up to the All-Star break (July 13-15) and the second series at the Oakland Coliseum immediately following the All-Star break (July 20-22).
Information regarding holiday ticket sales and Fanfest will be available in the fall.
