The Giants made the following roster moves prior to tonight's game:
IF Ryder Jones (#14) was recalled from triple-A Sacramento.
IF Abiatal Avelino (#46) (pronounced Ah-biah-Tahl ah-veh-lihn-oh) had his contract purchased.
RHP Jeff Samardzija was transferred to the 60-day DL.
