Greg Allen added to roster

The Indians today recalled OF GREG ALLEN (#53) from Triple A Columbus, the 26th player, for the Puerto Rico series vs. Minnesota, April 17-18. 
 
Allen, 25, will begin his second career stint with Cleveland after making his Major League debut when rosters expanded on September 1, 2017. He batted .229 (8-35) in 25 games for the Tribe with a double, a home run and six RBI. Allen collected his first career MLB hit on September 2 at Detroit and hit his first career homer on September 7 at Chicago-AL.
 
He batted .250 (9-36) in 23 appearances for Cleveland during 2018 Cactus League play, collecting two doubles, a triple and six RBI. He began 2018 with his first career assignment at Triple-A Columbus, where he has hit .200 (5-25) in the first week of the season.
