The Padres return home from their second road trip of the 2026 season to start their third homestand of the regular season. The six-game homestand begins Monday with the visiting Chicago Cubs. With large crowds anticipated, fans are encouraged to arrive early and consider utilizing the Trolley, COASTER or ride share to America’s #1 Ballpark.
On Monday, in community partnership with the Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana and the Japanese Friendship Garden, the Padres will host a Japanese Heritage Celebration presented by Nuna. (THEME GAME PACKAGE SOLD OUT)
Miles Doughty, San Diego native and lead singer of the band “Slightly Stoopid,” is throwing Monday’s Ceremonial First Pitch in celebration of the inaugural Field of Dreamz Festival taking place at Petco Park on June 13 with Sublime. Fans can get closer to the action with two VIP package options available for purchase, including the All-Star VIP package and Hall of Fame VIP Package. During National Volunteer Recognition Month, the Padres and Padres Foundation are recognizing Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County’s 2025 "Bigs of the Year," six outstanding volunteer mentors and their mentees, along with other long-term mentor pairs matched five or more years with a baseline ceremony prior to Monday night’s game. The recognition also serves as a recruitment call to action, highlighting that over 200 San Diego youth are currently waiting for a mentor and encouraging fans to get involved at SDBigs.org.

Season Ticket Members are encouraged to arrive early on Tuesday to watch the Padres take batting practice prior to the game. Members can enter through East Village Gate as early as 3:00 p.m., with select Members receiving a credential to sit in designated seating closer to the field. Custom Rawlings baseballs with golden stitches will be mixed in during Padres batting practice, and the lucky fans who catch or retrieve the golden balls will be able to redeem them for a replica Padres jersey of their choice at the Padres Team Store.
Tuesday is highlighted by the Waffle Beanie presented by motorola razr. The beanies are available to the first 40,000 fans in attendance, while supplies last. With a strong turnout expected, fans are encouraged to arrive early as this giveaway is subject to availability.
Nine high school students will be honored as Tony Gwynn Community All-Stars during an on-field ceremony prior to Tuesday's game. The program honors the legacy of Gwynn by recognizing outstanding San Diego high school students who are making a meaningful impact in their communities. Each student honoree is receiving a $5,000 grant in their name towards a local non-profit organization of their choosing.

The Padres conclude their three-game series with the Cubs on Wednesday afternoon with first pitch slated for 1:10 p.m.

On the scheduled off day, the Padres and Padres Foundation are hosting the Fifth Annual Dinner on the Diamond presented by Sycuan Casino Resort. The event features hosted tables with Padres players, coaches, team executives and alumni, a gourmet dinner curated by Chef Carlos Gaytan of Patina Group, festive cocktail hour, live entertainment, auctions with unique items and experiences, and a firework display.
This year’s headlining artist is the iconic Ms. Lauryn Hill with special guests YG Marley and Zion Marley performing in Gallagher Square. A separate ticket is available for purchase with net proceeds benefiting the Padres Foundation, allowing fans without a ticket to Dinner on the Diamond the opportunity to enjoy the musical performance for the first time ever. Fans have an opportunity to make a charitable contribution to the foundation by bidding on silent auction items online until Monday, May 4 at 8:00 p.m. PT. To recognize and honor our Armed Forces, the Padres have partnered with USAA to bring the Military Appreciation Zone to Petco Park before every Saturday and Sunday home game. Active-duty service members, veterans and their families, and USAA Members are invited to the USAA Military Appreciation Zone at the top of the Home Plate Gate stairs near Section 100 from 3:30-5:40 p.m. pre-game to enjoy food and drink specials starting at $5.
Faith & Family Night presented by Fellowship of Christian Athletes returns to Petco Park on Saturday with a dedicated Theme Game Package. (THEME GAME PACKAGE SOLD OUT)
The Padres Foundation and Xander Bogaerts will present a $150,000 check to Urban Street Angels in support of the Padres 5-Tool Trade Academy, a trade training program for transition-aged youth experiencing homelessness. Since its pilot launch in 2023, the program has served 93 young people, with nearly 80% achieving full-time employment and independent housing.

KidsFest presented by Nuna is back at Gallagher Square with activities, including the Nuna playground, bounce houses and other inflatables, games, face painters, balloon artists and more kid-friendly activities are available prior to every Sunday home game.
The Military Appreciation Zone returns Sunday at the top of the Home Plate Gate stairs from 11:00 a.m.-1:10 p.m.
Prior to the game, nine ASYMCA dependents of active-duty service members currently deployed will take the field with Padres starters as part of Military Takes the Field.
Following the game, kids 14 and under are invited to run the bases presented by Chick-fil-A. Kids and their families can begin lining up following the conclusion of the eighth inning at the top of the ramp leading to the Craft Pier presented by Ballast Point on K Street.
