Indians promote Tyler Naquin & Tom Gorzelanny from Triple-A Columbus

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the 2016 Major League roster:
Recalled OF TYLER NAQUIN (#30) from AAA Columbus.      
Optioned RHP SHAWN ARMSTRONG to AAA Columbus.
Purchased the contract of LHP TOM GORZELANNY (#33) from AAA Columbus. 
Naquin, 25, begins his third stint with the Cleveland Indians in 2016 after beginning the campaign at the Major League level (was also in Cleveland, May 13-17). On the year he is batting .317 (20-63) with 10 runs, 2 doubles, 2 triples and 2 RBI in 27 games with the Indians. Around two Major League stints, Tyler has batted .286 (20-70) with 3 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR & 8 RBI in 17 games with Triple-A Columbus, including a mark of .327 (18-55) against right-handed pitching.
Gorzelanny, 33, has spent the entire year to date with AAA Columbus after attending Major League spring training camp as a non-roster invitee. So far this season he has posted a mark of 1-1 with a save and a 3.38 ERA in 19 games (18.2IP, 13H, 7ER, 11BB, 19K, .197 avg). He has limited left-handed Triple-A batters to a .156 (5-32, 1 extra-base hit) average against and has not allowed a run over his last 6 appearances (7.0IP, 1H, 6K).
Gorzelanny assumes the 40-man roster spot recently vacated by OF MARLON BYRD, who was suspended today by Major League Baseball for violating Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
