Indians recall OF Greg Allen from Columbus

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following transactions relative to the Major League roster:
Recalled OF GREG ALLEN (#1) from AAA Columbus.
Optioned RHP ADAM PLUTKO to AAA Columbus. 
Allen, 25, is beginning his fourth stint with Cleveland this season, batting .209 (29-for-139) with 4 doubles, 2 triples, 1 home run and 5 RBI in 45 games during his previous appearances. With Triple-A Columbus this season, he has hit .289 (44-for-152) with 27 runs, 12 2B, 1 HR and 10 RBI in 41 games while stealing 12 bases (.394/.388/.783). For the year at the AAA level, the switch hitter is batting .342 (13-for-38) against left-handed pitching.
