MARINERS ANNOUNCE SCHEDULE CHANGE: NOW PLAYING ON JUNE 19
SEATTLE – The Seattle Mariners announced today that Game 1 of the doubleheader previously scheduled for Saturday, June 20 vs. the Boston Red Sox will now be played on Friday, June 19 at 7:10 pm at T-Mobile Park.
Tickets to Game 1 of Saturday’s previously scheduled doubleheader are now valid for the newly scheduled game on Friday night.
Additionally, the fireworks show, originally scheduled for Game 2 of Saturday’s doubleheader, has been rescheduled to Friday night. Fans with tickets to Game 2 on Saturday night can request to exchange their tickets to Friday night’s game.

The original doubleheader was scheduled to avoid potential conflicts with World Cup matches at Lumen Field. Friday’s USA vs. Australia World Cup match scheduled for 12:00 pm PT provided the opportunity for Seattle and Boston to play a traditional 3-game series Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
