Mariners recall RHP Donn Roach from AAA Tacoma

Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today that the club has recalled right-handed pitcher Donn Roach from Triple-A Tacoma.
Roach (#63) will be in uniform and available for tonight's (7:10 pm PT) game vs. the Boston Red Sox.
Roach, 26, appeared in 3 games with Seattle earlier this season, posting a record of 1-0 with a 10.80 ERA (4 ER, 3.1 IP) with two strikeouts and two walks. Roach recorded the win in his Mariners debut -- the 53rd pitcher in club history to win his Mariners debut -- allowing one hit and striking out one in 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief on June 24 vs. St. Louis.
In 21 games (17 starts) with Triple-A Tacoma this season, Roach is 6-5 with one save with a 4.21 ERA (49 ER, 104.2 IP) with 62 strikeouts and 18 walks. Roach is 1-0 with one save with a 2.35 ERA (2 ER, 7.2 IP) with three strikeouts and one walk in four relief appearances with Tacoma. Roach originally signed with Seattle as a Minor League free agent on Dec. 5, 2015.
