NEW YORK YANKEES TO PARTNER WITH NEW YORK CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

TO HOST 2026 BACK-TO-SCHOOL RESOURCE FAIR ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, AT YANKEE STADIUM

The New York Yankees and New York City Public Schools will host the 2026 Back-to-School Resource Fair for families and students of Bronx School District 9 on Tuesday, September 1 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Yankee Stadium. Media coverage instructions are at the end of this advisory.

The annual shared initiative is designed to ensure that local families have access to resources that will allow their children to excel throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Families attending the event will be provided with backpacks and school supplies, and more than 30 community organizations will be on hand to provide information about their services in the areas of food & accommodation, health & social services, youth initiatives and employment opportunities. The mission of New York City Public Schools is to ensure that each student graduates on a pathway to a rewarding career and long-term economic security, equipped to be a positive force for change.
