Mets announce 2020 Spring Training schedule

FLUSHING, N.Y. – The New York Mets today announced that the club will open its 2020 Spring Training Grapefruit League schedule on Saturday, February 22 with a split squad opener vs. Miami at 1:10 p.m. at First Data Field in Port St. Lucie, FL and on the road at St. Louis in Jupiter.

The Mets will play 31 exhibition games in 2020, including 16 home games in Port St. Lucie. The Mets will play the Houston Astros and the St. Louis Cardinals seven times, the Miami Marlins and Washington Nationals six times, the Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers twice and the Atlanta Braves once.

Season and group tickets will go on sale Tuesday, October 8 at 10 a.m. at mets.com and StLucieMets.com or by calling 772-871-2115. Five game mini-plans will go on sale Tuesday, November 5 at 10 a.m. Individual game tickets will go on sale Saturday, December 14 at 10 a.m. at mets.com, StLucieMets.com or by calling 772-871-2115. Due to the current renovation project at First Data Field, all orders must be placed online or over the phone. A temporary one day box office setup will be in place for Opening Day of ticket sales on December 14. Details to follow later this fall.

The Mets today also announced the launch of the 2020 Amazin’ Getaways Spring Training fan travel packages. The spring line-up will include two Grand Slam weekend packages and three Spring Specials, all with departures every Friday during Spring Training.

Grand Slam departures from New York are scheduled for March 6 and March 20. Spring Special departures are scheduled February 21, February 28 and March 13. All packages include hotel accommodations, rental car, game tickets and custom merchandise. The Grand Slam packages also include an exclusive pre-game brunch or postgame dinner, along with an opportunity to meet select Mets players and team personnel.
