Oakland Athletics homestand highlights (July 20-22)

FRIDAY, JULY 20 | 6:35 P.M.
"THE BRIDGE" TROPHY: The A's and Giants will continue to compete for "The Bridge," a new trophy awarded to the winner of the annual Bay Bridge Series. The Bridge is made with steel salvaged from the original East Span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. If the series ends in a tie, the winner of Sunday's game will claim the trophy.
ALUMNI AUTOGRAPH SESSIONS: As part of the A's 50th anniversary season celebration, alumni from the 1989 World Series championship team will sign autographs in The Farm at 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7 p.m. Session tickets are available for $50 to benefit the Oakland A's Community Fund. Alumni include Dennis Eckersley, Carney Lansford, Jose Canseco, and Dave Stewart.
ALL-STAR GAME JERSEY PRESENTATION: Prior to first pitch, Jed Lowrie and Blake Treinen will be presented with their All-Star Game jerseys. Community All-Star Rachel Wyley from Playworks will present them with their jerseys. CHECK PRESENTATION: The A's will present a $5,000 check to Oakland Tech to replace athletic equipment that was stolen in June. A's alumni Eric Byrnes will also present a check for $2,500 to the Oakland Athletic League on behalf of his Let Them Play Foundation.
50TH ANNIVERSARY TEAM PRESENTATION: The A' will present Dennis Eckersley and Curt Young with their 50th Anniversary Team jerseys at home plate prior to the game.
ERIC BYRNES BOOK SIGNING: A's alumni Eric Byrnes will autograph copies of his book behind Section 120 from first pitch until the end of the 4th inning for a $22 donation.
WORLD SERIES TROPHY PHOTOS: Fans can take a photo with the 1989 World Series trophy from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Championship Plaza.
POSTGAME FIREWORKS: Following the game, fans are invited to the outfield grass to enjoy an 80s fireworks display, presented by Gilead Sciences.
SATURDAY, JULY 21 | 6:05 P.M.
ALUMNI MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Alumni from the 1989 championship team will be availale to media from 4 to 4:45 p.m. in front of the A's dugout. Alumni scheduled to attend include Jose Canseco, Jim Corsi, Dennis Eckersley, Mike Gallego, Rickey Henderson, Carney Lansford, Matt Moore, Ken Phelps, Terry Steinbach, Dave Stewart, Curt Young, Matt Young; former coaches Rene Lachemann, Merv Rettenmund, Tommie Reynolds. A'S
OPEN MOUNT DAVIS: Mount Davis will be open for the first time in 13 years. Tickets are $10 and available at athletics.com/battle.
PREGAME CEREMONY: The A's 1989 championship team will be celebrated with an on-field ceremony at 5:15 p.m.
CEREMONIAL FIRST PITCHES: Wally Haas and Sandy Alderson will throw out the ceremonial first pitches.
WORLD SERIES TROPHY PHOTOS: Fans can take a photo with the 1989 World Series trophy from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Championship Plaza.
SUNDAY, JULY 22 | 1:05 P.M.
RICKEY HENDERSON BOBBLE-LEGS GIVEAWAY: 24,000 fans will receive Rickey Henderson bobble-legs, presented by Gilead Sciences.
SILENT AUCTION SUNDAY: An in-game silent auction will be open behind Section 120 until the end of the 3rd inning.
WORLD SERIES TROPHY PHOTOS: Fans can take a photo with the 1989 World Series trophy from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Championship Plaza. RACE AROUND THE BASES: Children ages 14 and younger are invited onto the field to run the bases after the game.
