Phillies Charities, Inc. Announces 2025 Community Heroes in Honor of Giving Tuesday; Awards $1.2 Million in Grants to Charitable Causes
Phillies Charities, Inc., the charitable arm of the Philadelphia Phillies, is proud to announce its 2025 community heroes, celebrating 34 incredible area charities which provide vital resources to those in need. Collectively, Phillies Charities, Inc. will be awarding over $1.2 million in grants, with each nonprofit organization receiving a $40,000 grant to aid in their efforts to make a difference.
“In celebration of our Season of Giving, it is our honor to award over $1.2 million in grants to 34 charitable organizations who have done so much for our community,” said Phillies Charities, Inc. President Bonnie Clark. “These grants, which are possible because of the exceptional support of our fans, front office employees, sponsors and players, along with their wives and significant others, will help ensure that the important work these organizations do in our community will continue.”
Community heroes (listed below) are from charitable organizations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, as well as near the Phillies minor league affiliates in Clearwater, Reading and Lehigh Valley. Many will be recognized at the team’s Phillies Charities, Inc. Holiday Reception on Wednesday, December 3, at Citizens Bank Park, as well as invited to the Phillies game on April 15 against the Chicago Cubs.
