Pirates roster move

The Pittsburgh Pirates today recalled right-handed pitcher A.J. Schugel from Triple-A Indianapolis. To make room for Schugel on the 25-man active roster, infielder/outfielder Adam Frazier has been optioned to Single-A Bristol.
 
Schugel has gone 2-2 with one save and a 3.86 ERA (49.0ip/21er) in 34 appearances with the Pirates this season.
 
He also went 1-2 with a 4.00 ERA (18.0ip/8er) in 13 relief appearances this season with Indianapolis. In his last six appearances at Triple-A, he tossed a combined 9.2 scoreless innings while allowing three hits.
 
Schugel will wear uniform #31.
