LOUIS, Mo., August 17, 2021 – After completing a perfect 6-0 road trip, the Cardinals return to Busch Stadium for eight games over a nine-day stretch starting with a three-games versus the NL Central-leading Milwaukee Brewers (August 17-19), followed by a three-game weekend series with the Pittsburgh Pirates (August 20-22) and concludes with a two-game Interleague matchup against the Detroit Tigers (August 24-25). 2011 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY REUNION
The St. Louis Cardinals will host a 10-year anniversary reunion of the 2011 World Series Championship team at Busch Stadium on Saturday, September 18, presented by Heartland Coca-Cola.
Over 25 former players and coaches from the 2011 team, including Cardinals Hall of Famer Chris Carpenter, World Series MVP David Freese, 2011 Cardinals All-Stars Lance Berkman and Matt Holliday, are scheduled to take part in a pregame ceremony before that evening’s 6:15 PM game against the visiting San Diego Padres. RE-ENTRY & SMOKING GATE – NEW FOR 2021
In order to provide the safest environment for all guests and staff, guests will not be permitted to exit and re-enter the facility during games. A designated smoking area is set up at Gate 1 to allow guests access in and out of the stadium if they wish to smoke. The designated smoking area is open from gate opening until the end of the 7th inning.
