RHP Andre Scrubb recalled from Triple A Sugar Land; IF Taylor Jones optioned

Effective today, the Astros have recalled RHP Andre Scrubb from Triple A Sugar Land, and have optioned IF Taylor Jones to Triple A Sugar Land. Scrubb has arrived at Minute Maid Park and is active for tonight’s 7:10 pm game vs. the Baltimore Orioles.

Scrubb, who was added to the Astros roster as the 27th man for Saturday’s doubleheader in Detroit, has posted a 1.35 ERA in six relief appearances for the Skeeters this season. His last appearance was on June 21 at El Paso (1 IP, 0 R).
