Astros Foundation and Chevron provide school supplies to children as part of Wins for Kids program

HOUSTON, TX -- The Astros Foundation and Chevron recently teamed up to provide school supplies to 500 children from New Hope Housing and Star of Hope as part of their Wins for Kids program.

The Astros Foundation and Chevron assembled a caravan featuring Orbit and the Astros Shooting Stars to deliver backpacks filled with the school supplies to children at the two facilities. Each backpack contained a spiral notebook, two folders, an Astros hat, a Wins for Kids face mask, and fun activities that can be done at home. The Astros Foundation and Chevron also donated $20,000 to each organization as part of this initiative.

The Astros Foundation and Chevron established Wins for Kids in 2019 as a way to continue having a positive impact by supporting youth programming for those in need.
