Astros return home for nine-game homestand to host the Texas Rangers, Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians
HOUSTON, Texas – The Astros return to Minute Maid Park for their first homestand after the All-Star Break, welcoming three of the top teams in the American League with the Texas Rangers, July 24-26, the Tampa Bay Rays, July 28-30, and the Cleveland Guardians, July 31-Aug. 2.
Monday, July 24 - Astros vs. Texas Rangers – 7:10 p.m. CTThe Astros open up the nine-game homestand with game one of a three game series against AL West rival Texas Rangers on Monday, July 24.
A Space City Monday, the Astros will don their Nike City Connect Space City uniforms. And in honor of Space City, 10,000 fans will receive a Space City Infinity Scarf, presented by Houston Methodist.
Texas country singer-songwriter Cory Morrow, a Houston native, will sing the National Anthem.
Prior to the game, the Astros Foundation and Phil and Katelynn Maton will hold a special Maton Monday, hosting a Wish Kid from Make-a-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana. The Wish Kid will arrive at the ballpark at 3 p.m. and will head to a shopping spree at the Center Field Team Store, before signing his one-day contract as an honorary Astro in the press conference room and watching batting practice on the field prior to the game.
A portion of the proceeds from Monday’s Share2Care 50/50 will go to the Cactus Jack Foundation.
Tuesday, July 25 - Astros vs. Texas Rangers – 7:10 p.m. CTGame two of the series against the Rangers is set for 7:10 p.m. CT on Tuesday.
Every Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park is Dollar Dog Night, presented by Texas Chili Company. Fans are treated to all-you-can-eat hot dogs that are just $1 each Tuesday home game during the season.
It is Hello Kitty Night at the ballpark, with a sold-out add-on Hello Kitty Astros-themed bobblehead. A second Hello Kitty Night has been added to the schedule on September 12. For more information, visit Astros.com/hellokitty.

Wednesday, July 26 - Astros vs. Texas Rangers – 7:10 p.m. CTThe Astros will close out the series against the Rangers on Wednesday evening.
All fans in attendance will receive a Ryan Pressly World Series Replica Ring, presented by Air National Guard.
A portion of the proceeds from Wednesday’s Share2Care 50/50 raffle will go to Ronald McDonald House.
The Astros Foundation will also host some kids from the Ronald McDonald House for a meet and greet pregame on Wednesday. At approximately 5:30 p.m. the kids will meet a few Astros in the press conference room.
Thursday, July 27
Astros pitchers Framber Valdez and Hector Neris are hosting a fan appreciation bowling fundraiser to benefit four non-profit organizations in Houston and other charities in their home country of the Dominican Republic on Thursday from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at 810 Billiards and Bowling in downtown Houston. Friday, July 28 – Astros vs. Tampa Bay Rays: 7:10 p.m. CTThe Astros open up a three-game series against the Rays on Friday evening.
10,000 fans will receive a Lance McCullers Jr. Replica Jersey, presented by Doggett.
Pregame Happy Hour presented by Budweiser will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Michelob Ultra Bar. Fans can enjoy $5 Ultra Drafts, a live D.J. and amazing views.
Friday Night Fireworks presented by ConocoPhillips are set for postgame, with movie soundtracks as the musical theme. Friday Night Fireworks are subject to weather. In the event a show must be cancelled due to weather, refunds will not be granted.
Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña will host the eighth Peña’s Pals of the 2023 season with kids from the Astros Youth Academy participating. Pena’s Pals is a new program developed by Jeremy in partnership with the Astros Foundation. He wants to celebrate kids and their development in academics, character building and making healthy choices. During the 2023 season, Jeremy will choose a school/organization and pick five Peña Pals students based on character, grades and growth. Those five students will be treated to an Astros game courtesy of Peña, and will attend batting practice, receive special Peña’s Pals shirts and more.
Saturday, July 29 – Astros vs. Tampa Bay Rays: 6:15 p.m. CT
The Astros continue the series against the Rays at 6:15 p.m. CT.
10,000 fans will receive a Yordan Alvarez Silver Slugger Bobblehead, presented by Phillips 66.
The Astros will welcome back outfielder Jose Siri with a 2022 World Series ring ceremony prior to the game.
Prior to the game, the Astros will celebrate both baseball and softball players from the Astros Youth Academy that have signed and will receive college scholarships.
Sunday, July 30 – Astros vs. Tampa Bay Rays: 1:10 p.m. CT
The Astros close out the series against the Rays at 1:10 p.m. CT on Sunday. The game will be televised live on AT&T SportsNet and Sunday’s game will also be a Los Astros Spanish Broadcast on AT&T SportsNet presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors. The Los Astros broadcast will be available on the AT&T SportsNet alternate channel.
10,000 fans will receive a No-Hitter Pitching Rubber, presented by Mustang CAT.
Sunday is Kids Day, presented by Primrose Schools. Families can participate in a variety of kid-friendly activities in the Union Station Lobby from when gates open until first pitch. Kids Day activities include games, inflatables, face painters, caricature artists, balloon twisters, a photo booth and more. There is also a special Kids Day add-on package, where for $30 fans can take home a special 2022 World Series Champions themed snow globe. Wednesday, Aug. 2 – Astros vs. Cleveland Guardians: 1:10 p.m. CTThe Astros close out the series against the Guardians and close out their nine-game homestand at 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday.
All fans will receive a Kyle Tucker World Series Replica Ring, presented by Air National Guard.
It is also Movie Day, presented by Securian Financial. This year’s feature film is The Lion King. Fans who attend the game will be encouraged to stay after the game and move to the third base side seating in the lower bowl to watch The Lion King. All seats will become general admission for the movie which will start approximately 20 minutes following the end of the game. There is also a $50 add-on Movie Day Field Package, which allows you to watch The Lion King from the field and comes with a custom Movie Night Blanket, as well as unlimited access to soda and popcorn to enjoy while watching the movie. Unless otherwise indicated because of a national broadcast, Astros local broadcasts are exclusively on AT&T SportsNet. Astros regular season coverage on AT&T SportsNet begins on Friday, March 31st when the defending World Series Champion Astros take on the Chicago White Sox at Minute Maid Park for Championship ring day. Coverage begins off with a special hour- long pregame show starting at 6pm. All season long Astros coverage will include Astros Pregame Show and Postgame Shows with Kevin Eschenfelder returning as host. Joining Eschenfelder on a rotating basis for another season will be former major leaguers Mike Stanton, Brian Bogusevic, Clay Hensley and Michael Bourn.
