BCF, Brewers players and coaches partner With Blessings in a Backpack

MILWAUKEE – Brewers Community Foundation (BCF) has partnered with Blessings in a Backpack to provide backpacks filled with non-perishable items to nonprofit groups in Greater Milwaukee to provide to children they serve.

Brewers players and coaches will pack 1,000 backpacks with two entrée items, breakfast items, snack items and an inspirational note for each recipient today from 3-4 p.m. on the warning track at American Family Field

On Saturday, July 10, the filled backpacks will be picked up by the following, pre-selected nonprofit groups:

• The Journey House
• The Next Door Foundation
• The Garden/Running Rebels
• The Meta House
• Sojourner Family Peace Center
