Blue Jays announce 2023 promotions and events schedule

The Toronto Blue Jays today announce the 2023 Promotions & Events Schedule, featuring 50 giveaways, events, and special offers across 81 home games. This season’s schedule has something for every Blue Jays fan, including player bobbleheads and replica jerseys; exclusive items and wearables; theme days; and specialty tickets that are paired with a guaranteed item. In addition, the renovated Outfield District is the place to be at the ballpark this season, with live entertainment every game day!

Home Opener presented by TD

Blue Jays fans will see the newly renovated Rogers Centre for the first time during the Home Opener presented by TD (April 11 at 7:07 p.m. ET). Fans will receive a light-up wristband giveaway presented by TD on entry, which are programmed for the pregame ceremony, and a Blue Jays Magnet Schedule giveaway presented by TD on exit.

Baseball traditionalists can get their hands on four unique bobbleheads and three replica jerseys in 2023.

An Exciting New Hot Dog Destination, Plus Loonie Dogs Night presented by Schneiders

Tuesdays at the ballpark wouldn’t be the same without Loonie Dogs Night presented by Schneiders, which kicks off on April 25 and is available each following Tuesday home game. The ballpark tradition is getting an upgrade this season with the launch of Schneiders Porch, a brand-new hot dog headquarters located in right field (200 level). Part of the Rogers Centre renovation, Schneiders Porch will be open during every home game as the destination for a one-of-a-kind, elevated hot dog experience with excellent ballpark views.

Ballpark Theme Days

Jr. Jays Sundays return on April 30 for Jr. Jays Opening Day, featuring ballpark activities and run the bases postgame for kids aged 14 and under. Our littlest fans will want to visit the Jr. Jays Zones, including the new Park Social (500 level) for family-friendly games and activities. Outdoor programming begins on June 11 and runs until August 27, with the season’s final Jr. Jays Sunday on September 17.

May is all about moms, Manoah, and more reasons to come to the ballpark. Starting with Mother’s Day (May 14), Blue Jays fans can honour their moms and mother figures at Rogers Centre with an Alek Manoah Bobblehead giveaway. Spending the long weekend in the city just got better with Blue Jays May 2-4 Weekend presented by Ryobi Tools (May 19 & 20). Pick up a Mesh Hat (Friday) and Pickleball Paddle (Saturday), both presented by Ryobi Tools, and kick off the unofficial start of summer in one of the new Outfield District bars – the Corona Rooftop Patio, Park Social, The Catch Bar, and The Stop.

Moving into June, Pride Weekend presented by TD returns to Rogers Centre on June 9 & 10. The ballpark will be transformed into a party celebrating our LGBTQ2S+ fans, featuring a Blue Jays Rainbow Flag Jersey giveaway presented by TD (Friday), community give back, and tons of Pride-themed activations.

An annual tradition, fans can enjoy Canada Day at the ballpark on July 1, featuring Canadian-themed festivities and a Lakeside Straw Hat giveaway.

Just ahead of the official weekend in Toronto, the end of July marks the second year of Blue Jays Caribbean Carnival (July 28), featuring a colourful Terrycloth Bucket Hat giveaway. Carnival is a time for music, dancing, and incredible costumes, all of which you’ll find at Rogers Centre.

Calling all witches and wizards: accept your letter to Hogwarts and join the Blue Jays for Harry Potter™ Day at the Ballpark (September 9), featuring magical programming and a Harry Potter™ themed Blue Jays Scarf giveaway. This is a day no Potterhead will want to miss!

The regular season closes out with Fan Appreciation Weekend presented by TD (September 29 to October 1). The team will thank the best fans in baseball with special activities and a Blue Jays Hoodie giveaway presented by TD.

Following a successful inaugural season, Specialty Tickets are back, with giveaways and experiences available with the purchase of a Specialty Ticket add-on. Limited Specialty Tickets are available while supplies last.

Elevating José Bautista to the Level of Excellence

As previously announced, legendary outfielder José Bautista will be named to the Blue Jays Level of Excellence on Saturday, Aug. 12. The celebration includes an on-field ceremony and collectible José Bautista Bat Flip Bobblehead giveaway.
