Braves set 2022 National League Division Series roster

ATLANTA – The Atlanta Braves today set their 26-man roster for the National League Division Series against the Philadelphia Phillies. The best-of-five series begins with Game 1 today at 1:07 p.m. at Truist Park. The roster features 12 pitchers and 14 position players – two catchers, six infielders and six outfielders.

Twenty-two players on Atlanta’s roster have previous postseason roster experience, including 14 that were with the club last postseason during its run to the World Series title – C Travis d’Arnaud, C William Contreras, INF Orlando Arcia, INF Austin Riley, INF Dansby Swanson, INF Ehire Adrianza, OF Eddie Rosario, OF Guillermo Heredia, LHP Max Fried, RHP Charlie Morton, RHP Kyle Wright, LHP A.J. Minter, LHP Dylan Lee and RHP Jesse Chavez.

D’Arnaud has the most postseason experience among position players on the Braves’ roster, while RHP Kenley Jansen leads all pitchers on the staff with 57 playoff appearances. Of Eddie Rosario leads all current Braves with a .993 OPS in 22 postseason games, while Jansen has 19 saves and a 2.13 ERA (15 ER/63.1 IP) in the postseason.

Game 2 will be here tomorrow, October 12, while Game 3 will be played in Philadelphia on Friday.
