Brewers Redefine City Connect With Statewide "Wisco Way" Uniform Celebrating All of Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers today unveiled its newest Nike MLB City Connect uniform, reimagined as a statewide jersey that celebrates the natural beauty and culture of Wisconsin. Led with a brilliant blue, the new design pops on the field and is packed with meaningful design elements that tells the story of Wisconsin. The Brewers will debut the uniform on the field this Friday, April 10, and wear it during the entire series against the Washington Nationals, marking the first official wearing of a City Connect uniform designed to represent the entire state of Wisconsin.

First introduced in 2022 as a tribute to Milwaukee, the Brewers City Connect program now evolves into something bigger – a design that honors the entire Badger State, its landscapes, traditions and the passion shared by fans in every corner of Wisconsin. Rooted in the idea that Wisconsin is not just where we live, but how we live, the new uniform embodies that through a thoughtful and inspired design.

Also debuting today is the visual storytelling through Brewers social media channels, anchored by the music of American indie folk singer-songwriter Justin Vernon, who is best-known as the frontman of Grammy Award winning band, Bon Iver. A native of Eau Claire, Wis., Bon Iver’s “33 “GOD”” sets the scene for a stunning in-house video production unfolding the layers of the Brewers devotion to Wisconsin.

“Wisconsin is a special place – from its lakes and rivers to its farms, forests and festivals,” said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers President – Business Operations. “This uniform is meaningful because it reflects the entire state we represent. It honors our heritage, celebrates our fans across every Wisconsin county and complements the unmatched passion they bring to this team every day.”

City Connect extends beyond the jersey where fans will enjoy an unbridled celebration all season long through unique food and beverage offerings aligned with City Connect wear-dates. There will also be collaborations with local artists and a summer of statewide pop-ups, joining fans in their communities to bond over a shared love for both Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Design Elements Inspired by the State

Developed in collaboration with Nike, the new City Connect uniform blends natural beauty, outdoor culture and timeless tradition into a modern expression of Brewers baseball.

The new City Connect jerseys will be available for purchase beginning today (Thursday) at 9 a.m., exclusively at the Brewers Team Store at American Family Field. Throughout the morning, fans can immerse themselves in City Connect through a series of interactive activations celebrating Wisconsin’s energy and personality, including a live DJ set from DJ Gilly, a Milwaukee Makers Market featuring local vendors and the Wisconsin Up pop‑up shop. Fans can also stop by three photo opportunities and enjoy uniquely local touches such as custom “Wisco” pull tabs and a repurposed wood Barrelman art piece created by Ike Wynter. There will be additional surprises throughout the American Family Field concourse designed to bring the City Connect story to life from the moment fans arrive.

As part of this evolution, the Brewers original City Connect uniform unveiled in 2022 will be officially retired following the launch of the new design. Fans will continue to see the club’s popular powder blue jerseys on the field as the newly-introduced powder blue road jerseys that expand the team’s classic look while preserving a strong connection to Brewers history.
