Canadian country stars highlight two-day Blue Jays Country Weekend beginning tonight

The Toronto Blue Jays are fixin’ a long Country Weekend party at Rogers Centre on Friday, May 20 (7:07 p.m.) and Saturday, May 21 (3:07 p.m.), as the team takes on the Cincinnati Reds. Tickets are available now at bluejays.com/promotions.

Fans looking for ways to spend their long weekend in the city can expect a toe tappin’ good time at the ballpark, headlined by pre and in-game performances in the WestJet Flight Deck by Tyler Joe Miller and Don Amero on Friday, and JoJo Mason on Saturday. In addition, the first 15,000 fans to enter Rogers Centre on Friday will receive a Blue Jays Army Green Hat giveaway.

Back for the first time since 2019, the WestJet Flight Deck, as well as Gate 9A, will be converted into a country do-si-do with line dancing; Western-inspired activities; saloon seating; Berringer wine and Bud Light Seltzer sampling; and of course, pre and in-game performances by three Canadian country stars making their Rogers Centre debuts.

In addition to two boot stompin’ days of music, the Blue Jays are joined by Canadian singer-songwriters Olivia Mae Graham (Friday) and Kelly Prescott (Saturday) to perform the national anthems. Hot off hosting the finale of _Canada’s Got Talent_, country star Lindsay Ell throws the first pitch on Friday, with Canadian country artist Dallas Smith taking the ball on Saturday.

Beyond Country Weekend, families can look forward to another Jr. Jays Sunday on May 22 (1:37 p.m.), featuring fun programming around the stadium and kids aged 14 and under are invited to run the bases like the pros post game for free!

As the calendar turns to June next homestand, the Blue Jays host Teoscar Hernández Silver Slugger Bobblehead Giveaway Night on June 1 (7:07 p.m.) featuring a fan photo opportunity with the Silver Slugger trophy, and a very special two-day Pride Weekend presented by TD on June 3 & 4 (*_7:07 and 3:07 p.m.) featuring a *_Rainbow Towel Giveaway.
