Celebrate 4th of July at Chase Field with patriotic tee giveaway, yard games and special food items

Join us in celebrating a festive and fun 4th of July at Chase Field, as the Arizona Diamondbacks take on the New York Mets at 1:10 p.m. The day includes a Patriotic Tee giveaway for the first 15,000 fans in attendance, games, all of your barbecue favorites, and even a Pregame Hot Dog Eating Contest.

The ballpark will have a backyard BBQ feel with Yard Games, including Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four, and more, in La Terraza.

Face painters, a coloring station and a patriotic sign-making station will be available for kids in The Sandlot.

The VS. Dog this series, is the Mets Dog, a 100% all-beef, footlong hot dog with red onion relish, kraut and yellow mustard, available at Big Dawgs, Section 105.

Officer Tyler Service with the Chandler Police Department will sing the National Anthem. Officer Service is a 13-year veteran, having served 10 years on patrol and the last several years as a school resource officer. Before becoming a police officer, Service was a professional stage actor and has been singing since the age of three.

Colonel Aaron Weedman, a fighter pilot who recently assumed command of the 924th Fighter Group at Davis Montham Air Force Base will throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch. Colonel Weedman has participated in multiple Opening Day flyovers at Chase Field.
