Cleveland Guardians, Triston McKenzie and Steven Kwan today announce final True2U visit for 2023 academic year

Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Guardians, Triston McKenzie and Steven Kwan today announced the final CMSD school visit of the 2023 academic year for McKenzie and Kwan’s player program, True2U. The visit will take place on April 10 at Valley View Boys Leadership Academy.

Through the True2U program, and in partnership with CMSD, McKenzie and Kwan mentor eighth graders at Valley View Boys Leadership Academy throughout the entire academic school year.

During their final school visit, McKenzie and Kwan will present the 2023 academic year’s True2U class with commemorative Jackie Robinson Guardians jerseys, as well as discuss the importance of Jackie Robinson in celebration of Jackie Robinson Day around Major League Baseball on April 15. Members of this True2U class will also attend the Guardians game against the New York Yankees on Monday, April 10.

Although there will be no further school visits, McKenzie and Kwan will continue to visit this True2U class at other locations before the end of the academic year.
