Claimed C Seby Zavala off waivers from the White Sox. MLB Bio

B/T: R/R │5-11, 205 │Age: 30 (Aug. 28, 1993) in Fort Hood, Tex.

Appeared in 66 games (65 as catcher) this season with the White Sox…collected 3 doubles, 7 homers, 16 RBI, 10 walks and 1 stolen base.
His 4 catcher framing runs this season ranks tied for 11th in the Majors.
Collected a pair of multi-homer games on June 6 @ Yankees and June 28 @ Angels.
In 2022, hit .270 (48-for-178)/.347 OBP with 14 doubles, 2 homers, 21 RBI and 19 walks over 61 games…set career highs in average, hits, doubles, RBI and walks.
Caught a franchise-high 5 one-hitters with the White Sox (since 7/18/21).
Became the first White Sox catcher to record a 3-homer game on July 31, 2021 vs. Guardians.
Originally selected by the White Sox in the 12th round of the 2015 draft out of San Diego State.
