Recalled LHP Blake Walston (No. 48) from Triple-A Reno. MLB bio

B/T: L/L │**HT/WT: 6-5, 175** │ Age: 22 (June 28, 2001) in Wilmington, N.C.

Is his first Major League call-up.
Went 1-0 with a 4.79 ERA (11 ER in 20.2 IP) and 19 strikeouts in 5 games (4 starts) this season with Triple-A Reno.
In 2023 with Reno, went 12-6 with a 4.52 ERA (75 ER in 149.1 IP) over 30 starts.
Last season, ranked among Triple-A pitchers in starts (T-1st), innings pitched (2nd) and wins (T-2nd).
Named D-backs Minor League Pitcher of the Month last May, going 4-1 with a 3.10 ERA (10 ER in 29.0 IP) and 22 strikeouts in 5 starts with the Aces.
Signed as the D-backs’ first-round selection (26th overall) in the 2019 draft.
