Diamondbacks can't-miss Opening Weekend highlighted by NL Championship celebrations and ring presentation ceremony, Rookie of the Year bobblehead giveaway and fans' first taste of new in-game entertainment and food and beverage
Baseball is back, and the reigning National League Champions are ready to embark on another exciting season starting with a seven-game homestand against the Colorado Rockies and New York Yankees. Kicking-off this Thursday, March 28, Opening Weekend invites fans to see their 2024 Arizona Diamondbacks in action for the first time and to celebrate the many achievements and unforgettable moments from the team’s remarkable 2023 run to the N.L. Pennant and the franchise’s second trip to the World Series. In addition, fans who attend will be some of the first to experience Chase Field’s new in-game entertainment elements and indulge in over 30 new food and beverage items.

The second game of the series will honor the Diamondbacks’ 2023 postseason, as the players and coaches see their N.L. Championship rings for the first time, along with fans, during a special pregame ceremony.

Fans in attendance during Opening Weekend will be some of the first to get to experience Chase Field’s new features and enhancements, such as:
- New lighting system with color-changing capabilities to heighten the in-game experience and better illuminate the field
- New sound system, used by some of the world’s top touring artists, that provides crystal-clear audio throughout the ballpark
- Evolved Rally-backs and Activation Team which aim to increase fan involvement during games, especially during critical moments
FOOD & BEVERAGE EXPERIENCE
When it comes to food, there are several new concession areas, including:
- A new, prominent home for the world-famous Churro Dog, Churro Dog HQ at Section 129 to make it easier for fans to experience this Chase Field classic
- Serpientes Cantina at Section 110
- Three new Grab n’ Go locations
Fans may recognize some popular food items returning from the 2023 World Series, such as:
- Millionaire Steak Sandwich at Taste of Chase at Section 130
- Apple Pie Chimichanga at Churro Dog HQ at Section 129
Fans will also see plenty of brand-new food items too including:
