Giants announce tentative 2027 regular season schedule
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The San Francisco Giants released their 2027 regular season schedule today, which will feature the Giants opening the season at home versus the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, March 25th. It’ll mark the second consecutive season the Giants have opened the regular season at home and just the fourth time in the last 20 seasons (others: 2026 vs. New York-AL, 2009 vs. Milwaukee & 2022 vs. Miami).
The Giants and Rockies will have an off day on Friday, March 26th, before the series resumes Saturday, March 27th, for game two, with the series finale slated for Sunday, March 28th. After the three-game set against the Rockies, the Giants will host the Arizona Diamondbacks for three games (Monday, March 29th-Wednesday, March 31st). Following the Giants’ opening homestand, the team will embark on a seven-game road trip to New York-NL (April 2nd-4th) and Atlanta (April 5th-8th).
The Giants will host the Dodgers twice from June 14th-16th (three games) and August 6th-8th (three games), as well as the Boston Red Sox from August 24th-26th. The 2027 schedule also features home weekend series against the New York Mets (June 11th-13th), Chicago Cubs (June 24th-27th) and Athletics (July 16th-18th). San Francisco has two 10-game homestands with the first against the San Diego Padres (May 24th-27th), Cincinnati Reds (May 28th-30th) and Washington Nationals (May 31st-June 2nd) and the second against the Athletics (July 16th-July 18th), Colorado Rockies (July 19th-22nd) and San Diego Padres (July 23rd-25th).
For the first time since 2022, the Giants will finish the season on the road, traveling to the Minnesota Twins (September 21st-September 23rd) and the Colorado Rockies (September 24th-September 26th). The Giants’ final series of the season at Oracle Park will take place from September 17-19 against the Atlanta Braves.
The Giants host the Colorado Rockies on Easter (March 28th) and the Washington Nationals on Memorial Day (May 31st). The team is in Los Angeles-NL for Mother’s Day (May 9th), Philadelphia for Father’s Day (June 20th), Arizona for Fourth of July (July 4th) and San Diego for Labor Day (September 6th).
