Giants announce tentative 2027 regular season schedule

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The San Francisco Giants released their 2027 regular season schedule today, which will feature the Giants opening the season at home versus the Colorado Rockies on Thursday, March 25^th. It’ll mark the second consecutive season the Giants have opened the regular season at home and just the fourth time in the last 20 seasons (others: 2026 vs. New York-AL, 2009 vs. Milwaukee & 2022 vs. Miami).

The Giants and Rockies will have an off day on Friday, March 26^th, before the series resumes Saturday, March 27^th, for game two, with the series finale slated for Sunday, March 28^th. After the three-game set against the Rockies, the Giants will host the Arizona Diamondbacks for three games (Monday, March 29^th-Wednesday, March 31^st). Following the Giants’ opening homestand, the team will embark on a seven-game road trip to New York-NL (April 2^nd-4^th) and Atlanta (April 5^th-8^th).

The Giants will host the Dodgers twice from June 14^th-16^th (three games) and August 6^th-8^th (three games), as well as the Boston Red Sox from August 24^th-26^th. The 2027 schedule also features home weekend series against the New York Mets (June 11^th-13^th), Chicago Cubs (June 24^th-27^th) and Athletics (July 16^th-18^th). San Francisco has two 10-game homestands with the first against the San Diego Padres (May 24^th-27^th), Cincinnati Reds (May 28^th-30^th) and Washington Nationals (May 31^st-June 2^nd) and the second against the Athletics (July 16^th-July 18^th), Colorado Rockies (July 19^th-22^nd) and San Diego Padres (July 23^rd-25^th).

For the first time since 2022, the Giants will finish the season on the road, traveling to the Minnesota Twins (September 21^st-September 23^rd) and the Colorado Rockies (September 24^th-September 26^th). The Giants’ final series of the season at Oracle Park will take place from September 17-19 against the Atlanta Braves.

The Giants host the Colorado Rockies on Easter (March 28^th) and the Washington Nationals on Memorial Day (May 31^st). The team is in Los Angeles-NL for Mother’s Day (May 9^th), Philadelphia for Father’s Day (June 20^th), Arizona for Fourth of July (July 4^th) and San Diego for Labor Day (September 6^th).
