Media Day for 2026 World Series presented by Capital One to be held on Thursday in Milwaukee
Major League Baseball will host Media Day for the 2026 World Series presented by Capital One on Thursday afternoon at American Family Field in Milwaukee, the site of Games One and Two of the 122nd Fall Classic.
The National League Champion Milwaukee Brewers are appearing in the World Series for the second time in franchise history along with 1982, while the American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays are headed to the Fall Classic for a third time in team history following AL Pennants in 2008 and 2020. Both Clubs are bidding for their first-ever World Series Championship, marking the eighth Fall Classic to feature teams vying for their first World Series win and the first since the Philadelphia Phillies and the Kansas City Royals squared off in 1980.
Both the Brewers and the Rays will make their 26-man roster players and select coaches available during separate 45-minute sessions on Thursday before Friday’s Game One of the World Series on FOX, FOX One, FOX Deportes, ESPN Radio and Univision’s TUDN Radio. The team media availabilities will be held in the Skyy Lounge on the PNC Club Level (300 Level) behind home plate. Managers Pat Murphy of the Brewers and Kevin Cash of the Rays as well as both of Friday’s Game One starting pitchers will participate in formal press conferences on Thursday from the ballpark’s interview room and thus will not be a part of their club’s media availabilities. MLB will provide footage of the pregame, postgame and Workout Day press conferences throughout the 2026 World Series.
Thursday’s schedule at American Family Field will be as follows, subject to change (all times CT):
