Mets to host three fireworks nights in 2022: May 28, July 2 & September 2
FLUSHING, N.Y., February 2, 2022 – The New York Mets today announced three fireworks shows at Citi Field this summer. Fans who attend the Mets game on Saturday, May 28 vs. Philadelphia, Saturday, July 2 vs. Texas and Friday, September 2 vs. Washington will be treated to a unique post-game fireworks show. Tickets for all three of these games are available now at Mets.com/Tickets.
Each fireworks show has a theme and will be synced with music and visuals on the Citi Field video boards.
- Fireworks on Saturday, May 28 are presented by Northwell Health and will honor Memorial Day Weekend along with those who have served through a New York theme.
- The Saturday, July 2 fireworks will be patriotic-themed and are presented by GOYA.
- The final fireworks show of the summer, Friday, September 2, presented by Toyota, will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Mets.
