Miami Marlins to host drive-thru food distributions throughout September, October, November and December

MIAMI – As part of their unwavering commitment to the community, the Miami Marlins will host drive-thru only food distributions through the rest of the year, thanks to support from partners HairClub and Monkey Knife Fight. Each month, the Marlins and Miami Marlins Foundation, in partnership with Feeding South Florida, will organize distributions on Wednesdays at the Humana Lot on the east side of Marlins Park or Gwen Cherry Park in Liberty City.

Through October, heading into Election Day – November 3, the Marlins will also provide vote-by-mail applications along with the fresh meals and non-perishable items to the more than 500 families at each distribution.

The Miami Marlins and Miami Marlins Foundation have committed to distribute nearly 800,000 meals since March of 2020, through the Miami Marlins Foundation Home Plate Meals Relief Fund and Impact Week presented by UKG. The upcoming distributions are supported by Marlins partners HairClub and Monkey Knife Fight. HairClub is a South Florida business that values giving back to the local community. Monkey Knife Fight reaffirms its community-focused approach to continuously provide support to the South Florida community.
