Miami Marlins to host group of frontline heroes at loanDepot park on Opening Day; will honor the heroes at select dates during the 2021 season with complimentary tickets and in-game recognition

MIAMI – In celebration of their dedication and service, the Miami Marlins are hosting a select group of South Florida’s frontline healthcare heroes from Marlins Pillar Partner UHealth-The University of Miami Health System on Opening Day, providing complimentary tickets on the AutoNation Alley Deck. Throughout the rest of the 2021 season, the Marlins will extend complimentary tickets to frontline workers from local South Florida organizations for select Marlins games at loanDepot park.

The Marlins are working with local organizations to provide the complimentary tickets to staff members to enjoy Marlins baseball from Clubhouse Box seats or the AutoNation Alley Deck. The groups will also be featured with a Marlins Impact recognition – an in-game spotlight on the MarlinsVision scoreboard during the middle of the fourth inning.

Additionally, the Marlins are returning Salute & Serve Days presented by loanDepot, with an expanded programming in 2021 to include healthcare professionals in partnership with loanDepot, which is now the naming rights partner for loanDepot park and Official Mortgage Provider of the Miami Marlins. Each Monday at loanDepot park, as well as each Friday through at least June, active and retired military personnel, veterans, fire rescue personnel, members of the police department, and health care professionals receive two complimentary tickets to experience Marlins baseball live!

Fans will need to bring their official service ID or employee ID to the North Ticket Office to redeem the offer. With the adjusted capacity at loanDepot park to start the 2021 season, requests will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.
