MLB announces 2026 Arizona Fall League schedule

Major League Baseball has announced the 2026 Arizona Fall League schedule, headlined by a doubleheader in Tucson, and tripleheaders at Goodyear Ballpark and Camelback Ranch. All AFL games will be once again streamed on the Arizona Fall League website and MLB Network will carry the annual Fall Stars Game on Sunday, November 8, and the AFL Championship Game on Saturday, November 14.

The 2026 AFL season will begin Saturday, October 3, with all six teams in action. The Glendale Desert Dogs will host the Salt River Rafters at 12:30 p.m. Arizona local time, before the Scottsdale Scorpions host the Surprise Saguaros at 3:30 p.m., and Peoria Javelinas host the Mesa Solar Sox at 6:30 p.m.

The AFL returns to Tucson for a doubleheader on Saturday, October 10, with the Javelinas, Solar Sox, Scorpions and Rafters all playing at Kino Sports Complex. The following week, on Saturday, October 17, all six teams will return to Goodyear Ballpark for a tripleheader. On Saturday, October 24, the league will stay in the West Valley area for a tripleheader at Camelback Ranch.

Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale will host Fall Stars Weekend. The AFL Home Run Derby will take place Saturday, November 7, at 6:30 p.m. Arizona local time with the 20 annual AFL Fall Stars Game taking place Sunday, November 8, at 6:00 p.m., and will be carried live on MLB Network.

The 2026 Arizona Fall League season will continue with a six-team playoff format, with the two clubs with the best records receiving a first-round bye. The quarterfinal round will take place Thursday, November 12, at Sloan Park in Mesa, and will see the team with the third-best record facing the team with the sixth-best record at 1:30 p.m. The teams with the fourth- and fifth-best records will square off at 6:30 p.m. with the winners advancing to the semifinals the following day.

On Friday, November 13, at Peoria Sports Complex, the team with the second-best record will play the winner of the #3/#6 game at 1:30 p.m., and the top seeded club will play the winner of the #4/#5 game at 6:30 p.m. Arizona local time.

The 2026 AFL Championship will be decided on Saturday, November 14, at 6:00 p.m. at Peoria Sports Complex and will be carried live on MLB Network, MLB.com and the MLB App.

The Arizona Fall League is comprised of all 30 MLB organizations, divided into six teams, with each team representing five affiliations. Each MLB organization sends at least seven prospects to the Valley to compile the league’s rosters. The 2026 AFL team assignments are as follows:

Glendale Desert Dogs: Braves, Dodgers, Marlins, Pirates, White Sox

Mesa Solar Sox: Angels, Athletics, Blue Jays, Cubs, Red Sox

Peoria Javelinas: Cardinals, Mariners, Orioles, Padres, Reds

Salt River Rafters: D-backs, Nationals, Rockies, Twins, Yankees

Scottsdale Scorpions: Astros, Brewers, Giants, Rays, Tigers

Surprise Saguaros: Guardians, Mets, Orioles, Phillies, Rangers, Royals

AFL games will be held primarily at six Cactus League ballparks throughout the 2026 season - Camelback Ranch-Glendale, Peoria Sports Complex, Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, Sloan Park, Scottsdale Stadium, and Surprise Stadium, with select games at Goodyear Ballpark and Kino Sports Complex.
