MLB bringing more than 25 Baseball Hall of Famers to the Field of Dreams movie site for special pregame ceremony live on Netflix prior to Twins-Phillies game at 7 p.m. ET on August 13th
Major League Baseball today announced a variety of activities and fan engagement efforts supporting the 2026 MLB at Field of Dreams game presented by John Deere, including a special pregame ceremony where more than 25 Baseball Hall of Famers are scheduled to appear on the field in Dyersville, Iowa. Set to air live on Netflix at 7 p.m. ET on August 13th, it is believed that the MLB at Field of Dreams game will feature the largest gathering of living Hall of Famers at one game since the 2008 All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium, where 49 Hall of Famers convened during the legendary ballpark’s final season. More than a dozen corporate partners of MLB are organizing custom activations designed to enhance the fan experience around the ballpark, while Nike and New Era have developed historically-inspired team uniforms created by MLB in collaboration with the Twins and Phillies. Aramark Sports + Entertainment has also worked closely with MLB to develop a new menu of ballpark foods available for fans at concessions throughout the festivities and games. Once fans enter the filming location of Universal Pictures’ Field of Dreams, they can have a catch on the original baseball diamond, play cornhole in the outfield, and walk through the corn path to make their way to the MLB field. The themed game is the result of a collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences.
As part of its new partnership with MLB, Netflix will bring the MLB at Field of Dreams game to fans across the globe live from the MLB field in Dyersville. This marks MLB’s return of the event after a four-year hiatus for site renovations, and the first time it will air on Netflix or any streaming service. Following Opening Night and the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, this will be the third live MLB event streamed on Netflix as part of a broader, long-term partnership. Fans of the original film can also go to Netflix to watch, as it returned to the streamer this month.
NBC Sports’ Sunday Night Baseball production team will produce the MLB at Field of Dreams game in partnership with MLB and under the creative direction of Netflix’s production team. The first pitch of the MLB at Field of Dreams game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT on August 13th, with special coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. MLB Network’s Emmy Award-winning production team will co-produce the pre- and postgame coverage on Netflix.
Below is more information on the many social responsibility and fan engagement efforts.
Social Responsibility
John Deere is the Presenting Partner of the 2026 MLB at Field of Dreams game and co-hosting a community engagement event in Dyersville as part of the MLB Together A250 volunteer campaign. Launched in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the MLB Together A250 campaign is a league-wide initiative pledging 250,000 collective volunteer hours to support communities nationwide.
The 140 volunteers in Dyersville will help advance this goal by donating their time to River Bend Food Bank, which supplies food and resources to a network of more than 400 food pantries and meal programs serving people experiencing hunger in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Additionally, for every home run hit during the game, John Deere will donate 100,000 meals* to Feeding America, up to 500,000 meals, to support families facing hunger.
Ballpark Plaza
Located just outside the third base side of the ballpark, the Ballpark Plaza will include concessions, a large retail tent, and for fans 21 years and older, sponsored bars from Budweiser and Corona. The Budweiser 150 Mobile Museum, which showcases the brand's rich heritage with a curated collection of historic memorabilia, milestone moments, vintage artifacts, and interactive displays that trace Budweiser's evolution from 1876 to today, will also set up in the Ballpark Plaza.
Menus
MLB worked with Aramark to create a custom menu for fans attending both the MiLB and MLB games, inspired by Midwestern flavors, as well as hometown eats of Philadelphia and Minneapolis. Menu items include “Heaven on a Hot Dog” Signature Hot Dog with sweet corn relish and corn-bacon jam, Roast Pork Sandwich, Philly Cheesesteak, Minnesota Juicy Lucy, Wild Rice Bratwurst, Elote Bites, Walleye Fish Po’Boy, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Hot Chicken Sandwich, Ballpark Nachos, Cheddar & Bacon Fondue Fries, Cheese Curds, and Corn Dogs.
Uniforms
The Twins uniforms for the MLB at Field of Dreams game presented by John Deere are inspired by their original home uniforms that debuted in 1961. The tops are white with navy blue pinstripes and no trim. The Twins navy script wordmark with red outline slants across the chest with the tail of the final letter underlining Twins in the Club's familiar style and the number on the back matches in navy with red outline. The Twins sleeve patch is of their famous "Minnie and Paul" logo. The Twins game caps feature a navy blue crown and brim with red button on top and white "T" superimposed with red "C" to create the Club's historic logo representing the Twin Cities and the socks are also navy blue.
The Phillies uniforms are inspired by the road uniforms the Club wore from 1939-1941. The grey jerseys feature a red Phillies script wordmark slanted across the chest with navy outline, plus a red and navy striping around the ends of the sleeves. The Phillies retro sleeve patch is a replica of the one they wore in 1939, a tribute to what was then believed to be Baseball's centennial. The Phillies game cap is navy blue with a bold red 'P' in the Club's historic font. The same red and navy piping around the sleeve cuffs also line the side of their grey pants, with navy socks completing the look.
Fans can find the Nike jerseys and New Era caps online at MLBShop.com and in the ballparks’ stores.
Once again, a Minor League Baseball game will take place two days before the MLB at Field of Dreams game. On August 11th, the Iowa Cubs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, will host the St. Paul Saints, the Triple-A affiliate of the Twins. The Cubs and Saints will don throwback-style jerseys for their first appearances in Dyersville. St. Paul will wear a royal blue jersey with “SAINTS” across the front and grey pants; their cap features the interlocking STP logo in blue stitching on a grey crown with blue brim. The marks chosen for the St. Paul uniform are from two different time periods in Saints history and the cap logo was originally worn on the sleeve of the 1920 St. Paul Saints. Iowa will wear a retro-looking jersey with “Cubs” in the same font as the Iowa Oaks jerseys of the 1970s; their all-blue cap pays homage to the Iowa Oaks’ font with a red “IOWA” across the front of the crown.
The game will be broadcast live on MLB Network, getting underway at 7:30 p.m. (ET)/6:30 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, and called by Paul Severino, Dan Plesac, Jim Callis and Sande Charles. This will mark the second Minor League Baseball game played in Dyersville, as the Midwest League’s Cedar Rapids Kernels (Twins’ High-A affiliate) played the Quad Cities River Bandits (Kansas City Royals’ High-A affiliate) in Dyersville on August 9, 2022.
High School All-American Game
In the lead-up to the game between the Phillies and Twins, the 2026 MLB High School All-American Game will be held in Dyersville on August 12th. Baseball Hall of Famer Jim Thome, who spent four seasons with the Phillies, will serve as a manager against 12-year Twins veteran Torii Hunter for the contest featuring the top rising high school seniors in the nation. Fourteen active MLB players, including Kevin McGonigle, Nolan McLean and Jordan Walker, have suited up in the High School All-American Game, in addition to 15 current MLB Pipeline Top 100 prospects who have played in the contest. This year marks the seventh iteration of the High School All-American Game and the first time the game will be broadcast live on MLB Network, getting underway at 2:00 p.m. ET/1:00 p.m. CT, called again by Severino, Plesac, Callis and Charles.

The brand’s consistent quality for almost 50 years is exactly why Mark West will use baseball’s most nostalgic setting and a familiar baseball tradition to show that dependable doesn’t have to mean predictable. Visit Mark West at MLB to grab a sample from the condiment dispenser – a new game-day addition that you must see to believe – and pair it with a hot dog.
