Oakland A’s coming together with San Francisco Giants for #GivingTuesday Battle of the Bay Fundraiser

OAKLAND, Calif. – The 2019 baseball season may be over, but the Oakland A’s are joining the San Francisco Giants in a Battle of the Bay competition for a good cause. From Tuesday, Dec. 3 to Sunday, Dec. 8, fans can participate in the #GivingTuesday Battle of the Bay fundraiser by making an online donation at https://www.crowdrise.com/o/en/campaign/giving-tuesday79. #GivingTuesday is a global movement that marks the beginning of the charitable season.

The two teams are collectively coming together to support the Bay Area community. All proceeds raised on the A’s fundraising page will benefit the Oakland A’s Community Fund and its programming to support education, youth sports, and volunteerism in Oakland and the East Bay.

The #GivingTuesday fundraiser is also part of the A’s Week of Giving, during which A’s players, front office staff, and mascot Stomper will participate in eight community events to celebrate the holiday season.
