Orioles Announce City Connect Snowball Truck Tour Across Baltimore
In celebration of their City Connect 2.0 rollout, the Orioles today announced the club will host a City Connect Snowball Truck Tour taking place across Baltimore on Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7. The truck will make eight stops at community events, pop-up visits, and festivals across the city, offering free snowballs to fans. Fans will also have the chance to purchase City Connect 2.0 merchandise, including ballpark-exclusive items from the Team Store at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, at select stops. The Orioles will unveil limited-release Baltimore snowball-inspired City Connect styles, exclusively available at these stops before their full release at the Team Store at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Monday, June 8. The Orioles will also host a watch party on Saturday, June 6, when the O’s take on the Blue Jays in Toronto at 3:07 p.m. Fans are invited to attend the free watch party at Hightopps Backstage Grille beginning at 3 p.m., and can enjoy free snowballs from the City Connect Snowball Truck from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Fans can participate in a meet and greet with the Oriole Bird, and former Orioles AL BUMBRY and LARRY SHEETS will be in attendance to serve drinks at the bar and take photos with fans. The Orioles unveiled their Nike City Connect 2.0 uniforms on Thursday, April 9, and wore them for the first time the following day for 410 Day on Friday, April 10.
