PADRES ANNOUNCE NON-ROSTER INVITES TO MAJOR LEAGUE SPRING TRAINING
SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres announced today they have extended Major League Spring Training invitations to 30 players.
- RHP (14): Aaron Brooks, Drew Carlton, Efrain Contreras, Anderson Espinoza, Wilmer Font, Jordan Guerrero, Eric Hanhold, Moises Lugo, Sean Poppen, Angel Sánchez, Craig Stammen, Domingo Tapia, Julio Teheran, Matt Waldron
- LHP (2): Daniel Camarena, Aaron Leasher
- C (3): Juan Fernandez, Chandler Seagle, Pedro Severino
- INF (6): Tim Lopes, Jackson Merrill, Rangel Ravelo, Alfonso Rivas, Max Schrock, Jantzen Witte
- OF (5): David Dahl, Taylor Kohlwey, Luis Liberato, Tirso Ornelas, Preston Tucker
Among those 30 players are 16 minor league free agents that will be new to the organization and 19 have Major League experience. Of the invitees, nine of the 30 were originally signed or drafted by San Diego. Attached is a full roster of all 71 players who will attend 2023 Major League Spring Training with the Padres.
